First image of Henry Cavill in the new suit. Action and power personified in the pose. Refreshing not to see him in the usual upright Superman pose, arms folded or akimbo. The muted colors and texture on the suit I expected because this is for contemporary audiences who want their heroes look a little edgy and sharper. Bright primary colors I don't think we will be seeing on the big screen. I am not sure if he is wearing red trunks. I always found Cavill very charismatic and when he is behind a moving or still lens, one is inclined to just watch him. It's a quality Chris Reeve possessed and which a Superman must have. Routh, Cain and Welling were all rather bland, unremarkable versions in my opinion even if they are good looking men. Let's hope this film lives up to expectation.
